Custom Galaxy's Edge Blade Controller - June 2021 Update
This is an update on the current state of my replacement blade controller for Galaxy's Edge lightsaber blades. In this video I look at changes that have been made to the hardware since my last video on this, a particularly troublesome issue that shouldn't have been so troublesome, and then a demonstration of the current effects the custom blade controller can currently perform. My previous video on my custom blade controller can be found here: • Creating A Replacement Galaxy's Edge Light... If you have any suggestions for effects to implement with this blade, or comments on the existing effects shown in this video, please leave a comment. I welcome any and all feedback to this project. The software I am using for development of the blade controller's firmware is the Arduino IDE (https://www.arduino.cc/en/software/) and Spence Konde's megaTinyCore (https://github.com/SpenceKonde/megaTi...) which brings support for the ATTiny1606 to the Arduino IDE. 0:00 Introducing The Blade Controller 4:30 Where Things Are Right Now 6:29 The Breadboard Blade Controller 11:16 A Troublesome Issue 16:08 Scoping The Problem 23:25 What's It All Mean?! 24:44 The Custom Blade Controller In Action 36:24 What Did We Learn & Where Are We Going?
