We Tipped Our Unimog Camper

What started as our first off-road adventure in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom quickly turned into one of the most intense days we've ever experienced behind the wheel of our Mercedes Unimog expedition camper. While exploring Vermont's legendary Class 4 roads with The Pilgrimage Overland at their Northern Excursion event, our Unimog slipped on a muddy off-camber gully section and tipped into the embankment, putting our truck camper to the ultimate test. With the help of experienced guides and fellow Unimog owner Alex, we recovered the truck without any damage, but the adventure was far from over. We still had to navigate some of the toughest muddy trails in Vermont, sliding through deep ruts, getting stuck in a massive mud hole, and using our winch to complete the trail.
