I cross back into Canada and follow the breathtaking Haines Highway through the Yukon, with mountain views around every turn. After stopping in Haines Junction for fuel, supplies, and a fishing license, I make camp along the shores of beautiful Kluane Lake near Destruction Bay. The evening is spent cooking dinner, enjoying a scenic campsite, and trying my luck fishing on the lake. The next morning, it's back on the road for one of the roughest sections of the Alaska Highway before finally reaching the Alaska border. This episode is a heavy driving day, but it's also the final chapter before officially beginning my adventure across mainland Alaska.
