Sesame Ginger Tofu 1 (14 ounce) block extra firm tofu, drained and pressed 4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon tahini 1 teaspoon grated ginger 1 teaspoon grated garlic Place marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Slice tofu into 8 pieces and place in a glass dish or plastic bag with marinade. Marinate for 15 minutes. Bake in the air fryer at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or for 25 minutes in a 400 °oven or until desired doneness. Tommie’s Teriyaki sauce Tamiko (Tommie) was my Japanese mother. She always kept a jar of her homemade teriyaki sauce in the refrigerator. ½ cup mirin ½ cup soy sauce ¼ cup sugar (or any dry sweetener you prefer) 1 clove garlic Place ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until reduced to a slightly thick glaze. Strain out the garlic. This sauce will keep for months in the refrigerator.
