Preparations for laying soundproof walls and tracks within the underground tunnel are in full swing. Construction of the Cheongna Extension, which began in February 2022, is a 10.7km section connecting Seoknam Station, the terminus of Line 7 in Incheon, to Cheongna International City Station on the Airport Railroad. The total project cost is 1.69 trillion won, and the construction progress is currently over 50% complete.
