[마산 무학산] 정상뷰, 경치, 진달래, 암릉 완벽!! / 백운사-무학산-십자바위-학봉(원점회귀) / 5.7km, 4시간 산행 /

This is a video of me climbing Mt. Muhak in Masan, famous for its azaleas, on April 12th. Mt. Muhak is relatively less known, overshadowed by the nearby Mt. Cheonju and Mt. Jangbok, which are also famous for azaleas. However, it is a truly famous mountain among experienced hikers, but strangely enough, it is hard to find on YouTube, so there isn't much information available. It is likely because it gets buried by Mt. Cheonju, the famous azalea mountain. Although it doesn't have the overwhelming clusters found on Mt. Cheonju, the naturally formed azalea trails are truly beautiful, and unlike Mt. Cheonju, the surrounding landscape views are excellent. You can see the imposing downtown Masan and, on the opposite side, Jinhae and Mt. Jangbok in a commanding view. You can even see Geojedo Island in the distance... The scenery is simply incredible. And this kind of view isn't just visible from the summit; it is visible all the way to Hakbong Peak. Many people just reach the summit of Mt. Muhak and return to the starting point, but I highly recommend Sijabawi Rock and Hakbong Peak. The hiking difficulty doesn't differ significantly anyway. Since it is also possible to return to Baegunsa Temple, I definitely recommend Hakbong Peak. Also, I recommend this place because you can experience the rocky ridges at Sijabawi. The view from Hakbong Observatory is reminiscent of the scenery seen from Balsan, a famous mountain in Yeongwol; in fact, it is even better. I believe you can experience the true essence of Masan here. I highly recommend it. The total hiking distance was 5.7km, and the hike took 4 hours. Since the cumulative elevation gain is about 680m, it is a steeper hike than expected relative to the distance.
