Auguste Rodin
http://www.artehistoria.com/arte/vide... Auguste Rodin is considered the most important sculptor since Bernini. A native of Paris, where he was born in 1840, his first known work is Man with the Broken Nose, a sculpture he created at the age of 24, which was rejected by the Salon of 1864. In 1877, he created The Age of Bronze, a life-size male nude for which he was accused of having cast it from a live model. More information at http://www.artehistoria.com/arte/vide...
