IMPORTANT: To view all available videos, ORGANIZED and CLASSIFIED by TOPIC, we recommend visiting the HOME section (tab located in the upper left corner of the channel MENU) or clicking on the following link: / @comprendiendolabiblia To fully understand the Old Testament, the reader must study and become familiar with the specific characteristics of each of the 39 canonical writings that comprise it. In this series, we will delve into a general analysis of the Old Testament. We will identify the author of each writing, the approximate or probable date of its writing, the intended audience, the historical context or situation that prompted it, and other essential details for a better understanding of the biblical text. In general, believers have limited knowledge in this area. This explains the widespread biblical ignorance among Christians and the increasing fertile ground where error and false doctrines proliferate, causing so much harm to the Church. The series will conclude with a brief overview of the intertestamental period, that is, the time between the two testaments (approximately 400 years, although the analysis will actually cover more than 600). Understanding this part of history, its political, social, and religious movements surrounding Israel, is crucial. This information will be invaluable for a deeper understanding of the New Testament and the times Jesus encountered when He came to this world to fulfill His redemptive purpose. We invite you to consider, with seriousness and perseverance, the topics presented here by various pastors and teachers with proven knowledge of Scripture and doctrinal fidelity. All of them are dedicated to biblically equipping every Christian committed to their profession of faith and their calling to be useful in the responsible expansion of God's Kingdom in this world. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The purpose of this material is to contribute to the spread of the Christian faith and its teachings as presented in the Bible, which we recognize as the sole Source and Absolute Standard of Faith and Conduct, revealed by God Himself for the benefit of all humankind. Ideal for personal or group study, or for use as a resource in Sunday schools at any local church, with the aim of acquiring a solid biblical foundation. Learn and study sound biblical doctrine!
