Easy Mincemeat Pie, a Christams favorite in our family! Recipe ⬇️ This Mincemeat Double Crust Pie is one of my dad‘s favorites at Christmas time. A spicy medley of apples and raisins in the filling, it delivers perfect flavors for the season. For the filling… 27 ounces None Such Mincemeat, original (1 jar) 2 medium Apples, peeled and cord, then cut into 1/2 inch chunks 1 cup Applesauce, preferably plain chunky style 1/4 cup Light brown sugar 1/4 cup White sugar 5-6 tablespoons Butter Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients except for the butter. Poor mixture into a prepared 9 inch piecrust. Place 5 tablespoons of butter evenly across the top please top crust over the pie, rolling, then crimping the edges. In a decorative pattern, make multiple slits on the surface of the top crust. Bake pie for 1hr 20 min in a preheated oven on the middle rack. Allow pie to cool completely before serving.
