We Drive the Most Powerful Porsche EVER... It's an SUV | Cayenne Turbo Electric

New Zealand’s first drive of the most powerful Porsche ever built, 850kW, 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds... and it's a family SUV. The all-new 2026 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric. With Launch Control engaged it delivers 850kW (1,139hp) and 1,500Nm of torque, hitting 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds. That's Bugatti Veyron quick, in an SUV with a 747-litre boot and room for the whole whānau. Under the skin: a 113kWh battery on an 800-volt platform, up to 400kW DC charging (10-80% in around 16 minutes), a claimed 620km-plus of range, and up to 600kW of regen braking with tech straight out of Formula E. Priced in New Zealand from $215,000 for the Cayenne Electric and $295,000 for the Turbo. We put it all to the test: full launch control runs, the race-car push-to-pass button, active aero blades that deploy above 55km/h, and the Park Training mode. Can a two-and-a-half-tonne electric SUV really deliver the driving experience Porsche is famous for? Watch now to find out. Enjoyed the drive?
