DJI Fly App Update 1.21.5 Tested the Mini 2 (Still Going Strong)

We've been waiting for another DJI Fly App Update and it's here, guys! Is it worth updating? DJI has released another update to the DJI Fly App, version 1.21.5. While the release notes simply mention "fixed known issues and optimized overall app quality," they don't reveal much about what actually changed. Since this update is currently available only on iOS, I decided it was the perfect excuse to dust off one of my favorite drones—the DJI Mini 2, affectionately known on our channel as "Rose." Even though DJI ended active support for the Mini 2 years ago, it's still one of the most reliable drones we've ever flown, and many of you are still flying yours today. So the question is simple... Does the newest DJI Fly App still play nicely with this classic drone? Join me as we install DJI Fly App 1.21.5, head out for a real-world test flight, and see if the Mini 2 still has what it takes in 2026.
