AZHT: Backing your Horse up on a Soft Feel
Teach your horse to back-up on the ground first. Start them off real soft and calm and then slowly advance them. It will be much easier to ask them to back up when your in the saddle if you take the time to do it on the ground first. As always it takes time, patience, and practice! Soft Hands, Soft Horse!
