Miracles and signs were never under a prophet’s personal control—they occurred only by Allah’s permission and according to His perfect wisdom. Allah teaches that every decree has its appointed time, and nothing can hasten or delay what He has written. Human plans may seem powerful, but Allah’s plan always prevails. Throughout history, those who rejected the truth plotted against the prophets, yet their schemes ultimately failed because all authority belongs to Allah. The surah ends by reassuring the Prophet ﷺ that even if people deny his message, Allah is sufficient as a Witness, along with those who possess true knowledge of the revealed scriptures. This serves as a timeless reminder for believers to remain steadfast, trusting that truth does not depend on popular acceptance but on Allah’s testimony.
