🌅 Fajr Reflection @ ADAMS Center 📖 سُورَةُ إِبْرَاهِيم | Surah ʾIbrāhīm (14:5–7) Reflection: In these verses, Allah reminds us of the mission of Prophet Mūsā (عليه السلام): to bring his people from darkness into the light by Allah's permission and to remind them of the "Days of Allah"—the moments when Allah's power, mercy, and justice became evident throughout history. Allah then reminds the Children of Israel of His great favor in saving them from the tyranny of Pharaoh, who subjected them to severe oppression. Their rescue was a tremendous blessing and a test of whether they would respond with gratitude and obedience. The passage concludes with one of the Qur'an's most profound promises: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you; but if you are ungrateful, indeed My punishment is severe." (14:7) True gratitude is more than words—it is recognizing Allah's blessings, using them in ways that please Him, and remaining steadfast in faith. Gratitude brings increase in blessings, while ingratitude leads to loss and accountability. May Allah make us among those who constantly remember His favors, express sincere gratitude, and use His blessings in obedience to Him.
