🚍 Final bus ride on the Montreal STM route 217: Anse-à-l'Orme - going eastbound - May of 2026
Here is a video on my final ride aboard the Montreal STM route 217: Anse-à-l'Orme. This route will soon be abolished with the official opening of the REM A3 Anse-à-l'Orme Branch on Monday, May 18, 2026. In this video, I film a ride between the intersection of Sainte-Marie Street / Meany Street and Beaconsfield Station going eastbound. Beaconsfield Station is part of the Vaudreuil/Hudson exo commuter train line. For a large part of the ride, we are traveling through the Kirkland sector of Montreal. You can see the Kirkland REM station as well in the video. The bus we are on is a Nova Bus LFS hybrid bus with STM fleet number 40-181 from the year 2020. This video was filmed on the evening of Monday, May 4, 2026.
