Allstones Lake overnight with my nephew! 2024

A rare backpack with someone else. Family no less! My nephew expressed an interest, and of course you gotta be there for the next generation right? He's a bright young man. Since he lives in Edmonton and I was in Calgary, I chose something in the David Thompson area so he could meet me in Red Deer. Then I chose an overnight. Little did I know how popular this overnight was! We hiked up the ridge too naturally. We had a good time. This trail is described in the David Thompson Highway Hiking Guide.
