Both teams now sit in the middle of the second division table with seven points each. SC Paderborn coach Alexander Ende had to do without center-back Jannis Heuer (stomach problems) and forward Etienne Amenyido (muscle problems), bringing in Scherder and Lars Lokotsch in their place.
