Mustard Fish Curry @KabitasKitchen I Blindfold Challenge I सरसों की मछली I Pankaj Bhadouria When Kabita Singh came to my Kitchen, we made Mustard Fish Curry! Kabita shared her family recipe of Mustard Fish Curry. Unlike the Bengali Mustard Fish Curry that is made with yellow mustard seeds, this Mustard Fish Curry is made with black mustard seeds. We used Taingan Fish or Silan Fish which is of the Catfish Family, but you can use any firm fleshed fish for this recipe. We had fun in the kitchen when Kabita gave me a Blindfold Challenge! Thank you for watching! 💫 And don’t forget to subscribe here: https://goo.gl/mQwVjN **************************************************************************** Recipe : Mustard Fish Curry Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: 500g Fish 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste ½ tsp turmeric powder 4 tbsp black mustard seeds 8-10 cloves garlic 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp coriander seeds 2 large tomatoes Mustard oil to fry 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tbsp green chilies, chopped 2 tbsp Coriander leaves Salt to taste Method: Rub the fish pieces with salt, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Make a fine paste of the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, black pepper and coriander seeds. Heat the mustard oil to smoke point. Switch off the flame and cool a bit. To hot oil, add the fish pieces and fry till golden. Remove the fish and remove all but 4 tbsp oil in the pan. Add the green chilies and then the mustard paste and sauté till the oil separates from the paste. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well. Add 2 cups water and cook till the oil comes to the surface. Add the fried fish and cook for 3-4 minutes.
