Gabinete RP #44: Vou entregar a minha cédula profissional

There's a question I get asked quite often, and honestly, I've never quite known how to answer it: "But do you still work on litigation?" The short answer is no. The long answer is this episode. My day-to-day work as Managing Partner at P&A Legal has very little to do with the technical practice of law and a lot to do with what any CEO or COO would recognize as their routine: team management, positioning decisions, recruitment, commercial structure, resource allocation, organizational culture. I will maintain my professional license and certainly continue to perform various operational tasks (such as legal consulting and planning) throughout my career, but... it's natural that this operational component will be even further reduced (strategically) in two years than it is today. What does this say about the path of a professional who starts in a technical area and builds a company around it?
