The BEST Fall Hike in Washington! Thunder Mountain - Alpine Lakes wilderness
This is it! I have discovered the BEST Fall hike in Washington. It is exactly what I would call a hikers paradise! Why? Firstly as rarity goes in Washington, it’s not crowded at all! The colors are gorgeous, the lakes are beautiful, and the mountain scenery is absolutely stunning. From the Tunnel creek trailhead I followed the trail to Hope Lake. Where the junction to the south Pacific Crest trail leads us up to Thunder Lake & Thunder Mountain. This Washington hike was one truly rewarding adventure.. Fall colors, the bluest of alpine lakes, views for days & the loudest Marmot scream I have ever witnessed. It’s a great day to hike Washington in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest! ________________________________________________ Hey guys! Im Jess.
