Hiking the Most Beautiful Alpine Lake in Washington - Jade Lake

Jade lake sits in a basin deep in the alpine lakes wilderness. It's unique blue color is created by glacial melt, and it is such a brilliant shade of blue you will think your eyes are playing tricks. While it is doable as a day hike be prepared, it's 20 miles and 4400 feet of gain, so it makes for a long grueling day. It took me 10 hours to complete and was worth every step.
