Hardly anyone I spoke to who mentioned I was doing an e-bike test knew about the BH iLynx Trail e-bike, and even fewer knew it was a lightweight e-bike. Currently, lightweight e-bikes, or e-MTBs, are a really exciting topic for me, and I hope to be riding a lightweight e-bike in the 2023 season. Of course, I appreciate the lighter weight, maneuverability, and agility of most of these bikes. The BH iLynx Trail isn't very well-known here yet, but this e-bike from Spain is already a common sight on trails there. I went out on the trails with @mike_rides_mtb02 and Alex. It was a super exciting and fun ride, which I hope comes across in this short e-bike test video. ... The e-bike has a custom-designed motor and a 540 Wh battery. An additional range extender can be added for the eMTB, providing an extra 180 Wh in a compact, water bottle-sized battery. Overall, I enjoyed the bike, although the motor occasionally cut out slightly at very low speeds. Perhaps this could have been fixed with different settings via the app, but the bike was only a test bike for an afternoon, so I didn't have much time to explore that. Guys...
