I Can Walk. I’m Still Disabled

I love visiting Universal Orlando. It's one of my favorite places in the world. But every trip reminds me of a misunderstanding that many people still have about disability. I can walk. And I'm still disabled. As someone living with a hidden disability, chronic pain, severe arthritis, and a fused foot, I've experienced firsthand how quickly people judge what they don't understand. Many people assume that if you can walk, stand, smile, or look "normal," you can't possibly be disabled. The reality is much more complicated.
