In the sixth installment of the lecture series on the relationship between science and philosophy, Professor Wojciech Sady discusses the development of philosophical reflection on science and our understanding of the world from the modern era to the present, in the face of scientific revolutions such as the birth of electromagnetism, the theory of relativity, and quantum mechanics. Professor Wojciech Sady works at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Silesia. He graduated in physics but has devoted his career to the philosophy of science, the history of philosophy, the history of science, the history of ideas, and the history of the relationship between science and religion. He is the author of numerous books on these topics.
