PEDRO Y JUDAS / Culpa, remordimiento, arrepentimiento y regreso

00:01:59 Peter and Judas walked close to Jesus. They both heard His voice. They both saw His miracles. They both sat at the same table. And they both failed deeply. But after their fall, their hearts responded differently. In this first chapter of Peter and Judas, we will study four essential concepts: Guilt. Remorse. Repentance. Return. We will also examine some biblical words related to this process, such as Avon, Metamelomai, Nacham, Teshuvah, and Shuv, and we will symbolically contemplate the Hebrew letters Tav and He. Guilt can awaken us, but it can also lock us in the past. Remorse acknowledges the pain of what happened, but it doesn't always produce a change of direction. True repentance looks back to God. And return responds to the call of His grace. Judas felt the weight of his betrayal, but he took the solution into his own hands. Peter wept bitterly, but his story remained open to return, restoration, and purpose. The difference wasn't that one failed and the other didn't. The difference lay in the direction each heart took after failing. And what about us? What do we do when we recognize that we have failed? Do we lock ourselves away in guilt? Do we dwell only on remorse? Or do we return to the God who can still restore us? Don't let anyone read Scripture for you. Study it. Meditate on it. And allow God to speak directly to your heart.
