Urban Road Junky? Say it ain't so.....

WHAT'S UP JUNKIES!!! It's been a rough month! First off, poor Hex the MTB broke on me on a ride at JPL. I needed a new wheel and finally had it replaced. The following week I was out getting some footage of a great ADV ride we were doing, when I took a spill. The fall itself didn't injure me, but after picking Rogue up, I was tring to adjust it to a better angle to jump back on when suddenly I heard and felt a huge POP in my left calf. I was able to finish the ride and headed straight to urgent care where it turned out I had torn the muscle. Bit of a releif that I didn't need surgery, just time to recover. So, in the meantime, I've been hitting the road on Rogue,and staying on-road (for the time being). On this simply beautiful Saturday, @robrovira and I rode 100 miles on the freeway to Shoreline Park in Santa Barbara, CA. From there we rode over 200 miles of backroads that took us into some of the most picturesque portions of California that I've ever seen. Miles and miles of gorgeous vineyards and farmlands, stopping in the charming town of Solvang for lunch, then hitting the backroads again all the way into Ojai, where this video ends. Don't you fret, Junkies! We will be off the grid and on the dirt again soon! I'm supposed to be hitting some dirt on the moto this weekend, and next weekend Damian and I will be heading out in Sierra once again to tackle a couple of banger trails with the SoCal Land Cruisers.
