Yuba River Gold - Episode 71 - South Yuba Nugget

It's hotter than heaters in Hooterville and we're dumping gold rich gravel into the hungry jaws of the Angus. Some rivers have a reputation for big gold. Unfortunately, the South Yuba isn't usually mentioned in that company. However, we still love Mother Yuba for her beauty, her healing waters and all of the smaller mineral riches that she readily and generously bestows upon us. The Angus grabs ahold of flakes, pickers, a "Chispa", and even a small nugget. We swim to ward off heat stroke. The sun eventually drops behind the canyon's wall. It's another fine day on the river. Thank you Mother Yuba.
