Mahama Tours Sea Waves' Ravaged Communities in Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region

The President, John Dramani Mahama has directed the Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson to urgently allocate funds in his first budget for the year towards the execution of the Second Phase of the Blekusu Sea Defence Project in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region. The President also expressed grave concern about the state and quality of work of the on-going resettlement housing project in the area, describing it as shoddy. President Mahama was addressing the chiefs and people of Agavedzi, Amutinu and Salakope as part of his visit to the tidal waves' ravaged areas on Ghana's 68th Independence Anniversary Day on Thursday, 6th March, 2025.
