🔴 Lula participa de anúncio de investimentos para periferias, favelas e comunidades urbanas do RJ

President Lula participates in a ceremony announcing Federal Government investments for the outskirts, favelas, and urban communities of Rio de Janeiro. Contracts will be signed, work will be authorized, and urbanization and sanitation projects will be delivered through the New PAC Periferia Viva – Favela Urbanization program. For the Complexo da Maré, the Authorization to Start Work for phase 1 will be signed. For the Complexo do Alemão, the Urbanization Operation Contract (FGTS / Pró-moradia/Periferia Viva Program) will be signed. For the Complexo da Rocinha, the Financing Contract for the community's urbanization will be signed. The event also marks the beginning of the PAC Jardim Maravilha works in Guaratiba. With investment from the Brazilian Government through the New PAC, the interventions in the PAC Jardim Maravilha include the construction of a dike, reservoirs for rainwater retention, drainage works, urbanization, and the implementation of paving and sidewalks, improving mobility and accessibility. The project will benefit approximately 30,000 residents of the region and strengthen the neighborhood's protection against flooding.
