This rare demonstration took place during the 2026 Canadian Aviation Historical Society (CAHS) National Convention and Aviation Cultures Mk. VIII Conference, where aviation historians, researchers, pilots, engineers, and enthusiasts from across Canada and around the world gathered to celebrate aviation heritage. The de Havilland Mosquito is one of the most iconic aircraft of the Second World War. Built primarily of wood and powered by two Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, the "Wooden Wonder" earned a reputation for its remarkable speed, versatility, and innovation.
