Audio Transformers (#17 AC and Switching Circuits)
Let's see how an audio transformer is used with a speaker to improve the volume and achieve impedance matching. We derive the necessary equations, build an example circuit, and then test the actual circuit in the lab. This video series introduces basic AC circuit design and analysis, how transformers and switches like relays and transistors are used, and finally in later videos a power supply is designed from basic principles.
