Non-Ideal Transformers (#18 AC and Switching Circuits)
How does a real transformer differ from an ideal transformer? Let's create a good mathematical model of a transformer, and then see how accurate the model is by comparing it to the performance of a real transformer in the lab. This video series introduces basic AC circuit design and analysis, how transformers and switches like relays and transistors are used, and finally in later videos a power supply is designed from basic principles.
