Sianokosy skończyłam u lekarza. Czy cała tegoroczna praca pójdzie na marne?

Today's episode was supposed to be full of sunshine, smiles, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the satisfaction of a job well done because I'm starting this year's haymaking! Our meadow is a unique place – it combines an orchard, apiary, and a vegetable garden, so working here requires a strategic approach. Before I drive the large lawnmower onto it, I first have to grab the petrol-powered scythe. Mowing around the young trees, fruit bushes, the area around the beehives, and the edges of the vegetable garden took me a long time, but I finished the first day with a huge sense of accomplishment. Unfortunately, fate had a completely different plan for me... My plans for the next few days were ruined. Instead of being in the meadow, I ended up in bed with a diagnosis I hadn't expected at all: Lyme disease. Fever, extreme weakness, and muscle and joint pain completely threw me off my game. Although the antibiotics are slowly starting to work, it will take me a long time to fully recover. An involuntary "L4" is the last thing I need right now. The garden is teeming with life and won't wait for my recovery... Currants, raspberries, and cucumbers are perfectly ripe and ready for harvesting. Time is running out, and the jars for winter won't make themselves. I have only one thought in my head: will all my hard work so far be wasted now? Will I even have enough strength to harvest and make preserves in this state? I invite you to a very honest, at times difficult, but hopeful episode. See what the reality in the countryside looks like when someone is faced with a sudden illness. 💬 Tell me in the comments if you've ever had to deal with Lyme disease? How long did it take you to recover? Your words of support and advice will be worth their weight in gold to me right now! #sowing #lyme #garden #preserves #apiary #countrylife #harvest #raspberries #cucumbers #villagelife -------------------------------------------------------------- PS.
