LIFE ON THE HOME FRONT: OUR VISIT TO THE 1940's WARTIME EVENT IN CRICH

Last weekend, we visited the National Tramway Museum to experience what life on the Home Front was like during World War II. We had a fantastic time watching a variety of living history and enactments from the era, including a World War II aircraft flying over the village of Crich while vintage trams operated throughout the site. We enjoyed strolling along the cobbled village streets, exploring the local gift shop, and stopping by the diner. With clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine throughout the day, it was the perfect setting for a trip back in time. We also popped into the Red Lion for some refreshments—and, of course, a well-earned beer!
