It's Not Looking Good For The Jew

An incredibly tough and stressful day here in Dalat, Vietnam. For the past little while, I've been keeping a close eye on my friend—an expat from America—who has been getting increasingly unwell. Between looking after him, running errands, and taking care of his dog, we've been trying our hardest to convince him to go to the hospital. He insisted he just needed to sleep it off, but as a severely disabled man, his condition was visibly deteriorating. Yesterday morning, the situation took a drastic turn. I woke up to a wall of missed calls and realized I had slept through a major emergency. An ambulance had to be called, and it took a team to carry him out of the apartment block. He is currently in the hospital in critical condition. This is the raw, difficult side of expat life that nobody wants to face, but it's the reality when medical emergencies happen far from home. dalat expat emergency, medical emergency vietnam, expat life vietnam, dalat vietnam, hospital emergency vietnam, american expat sick, life in dalat, ambulance in vietnam, critical condition hospital, expat healthcare vietnam, foreign hospital emergency, looking after a sick friend, raw expat reality, dalat apartment drama, dealing with sickness abroad, life as an expat in dalat, vietnam expat vlog
