Pollen is essential and our bees only complete feed source for our bees. But during times of dearth, weather events or lack of area diversity, supplements can be used to complement the pollen in the bees diet to help bridge the gaps and provide the base nutrients needed to maintain the momentum of the healthy development of the colony. Be it prepared or off the shelf, they all work to help provide those basic building blocks needed during times of stress.
