To burn off = When the heat of the sun causes the mist to disappear. 3. Cautious (adj) = Careful or avoiding risks. 4. A buff = A tube-shaped garment made of lightweight, breathable and stretchy fabric. 5. In hindsight = Clarity about a situation or event after it has happened. 6. To lather up (the sun cream) = To apply lots of sun cream all over an area, or your body. 7. Stunning (adj) = Very beautiful. 8. Very still water, unaffected by waves or wind. 9. A piece of land that projects from a coastline into the sea, often creating a point. 10. A large ship designed to transport large amounts of liquids, gases or powders. 11. To get a move on = To hurry up, or to move quicker. 12. To faff = To waste time or act in a very inefficient way. Spending a lot of time doing not very much. 13. Latch = A device used to keep a door or gate closed. 14. Cove = A small, sheltered bay with a narrow entrance. 15. To stick into = To insert or push a sharp or pointed object into something. 16. Barbed wire = A type of strong wire with sharp points on it. 17. Telegraph pole = A tall wooden pole used to hold electricity cables, power lines and telephone wires. 18. Stile = A structure designed to help people climb over a hedge, wall or fence. 19. To drop something off = To deliver something to a location, usually on the way to another destination.
