HIROSHI KUDO: Spiritul japonez înseamnă armonie, ospitalitate, disciplină | iCarte, iParte Podcast

Tonight's episode of the Podcast features Hiroshi Kudo, Deputy Counselor at the Embassy of Japan, who discusses Japan's openness to foreign investment, including opportunities for Romanian entrepreneurs in areas such as green transition, digitalization, and life sciences. Japan is increasingly promoting foreign investment and there are opportunities for Romanian entrepreneurs, especially in areas such as green transition, digitalization, and life sciences. Hiroshi Kudo says that Romanians have real chances to enter the Japanese market, but they need to understand the local business culture, based on building relationships of trust and loyalty. The Japanese perception of Romania is quite limited, but interest is growing due to recent cultural events and collaborations. Japanese education emphasizes character formation - punctuality and respect are learned from family and at school, and the relationship between teachers and students is close. Japanese books such as "Kokoro" by Natsume Soseki and "Convenience Store Woman" by Sayaka Murata were recommended, and the popularity of author Haruki Murakami and why it resonates with Romanian readers were discussed. Japanese traditions such as the tea ceremony were discussed, and what customs or dishes the Japanese in Romania lack – such as raw egg with rice. Japan is not as expensive as tourists think – meals can be cheap, and the yen is depreciated. There was an honest discussion about the challenges in Japanese society: secularization, the suicide rate and the state's efforts to provide psychological support. Kudo emphasizes the importance of balance between personal and professional life, but also the flexibility of personal growth. Finally, Hiroshi Kudo urges Romanians to visit Japan to discover it beyond images and stereotypes and mentions harmony, tradition and technology as essential features of Japan. 🔵 Video production: Pro FM 🔵 Podcast supported by SVN Romania 🔵 Public Procurement WORKSHOP: https://m.iabilet.ro/bilete-contracte...
