The guest explains that the loss of external landmarks (family, community, faith) forces us to seek stability and answers within ourselves, but this is not easy at all. We talked about how difficult it is to discern the truth in an era full of manipulation, contradictory opinions and fake news, where the concern for quick happiness often replaces confronting our own pain. Fear has become a constant theme – not only as a survival reaction, but also as a brake that holds us back and prevents us from living or following our passions. People often play social or professional masks and, if they identify too much with the roles, they can be left with a deep emptiness when they disappear. Inequality and constant exposure to the success of others can spark envy, shame, and feelings of inadequacy, especially when we don't see the effort behind the success. Relationships are often a mirror of our own wounds or traumas – especially when we end up projecting unresolved needs onto the other person. Real healing and transformation requires confronting our dark sides and accepting the pain, not running away from it. Younger generations are looking for meaning and balance differently than before, sometimes risking losing sight of the value of effort and long-term construction.
