The Camino: Music & Lyrics
Be inspired by this amazing song by Jane & Janet, who travelled on the Best of the Camino guided tour, as sung by her son Sam Parmiter. View the Best of the Camino guided tour: https://www.utracks.com/Spain/Guided-... Jane Parmiter and Janet Norris went on UTracks' Best of the Camino guided tour and had a terrific time. They wanted to capture their journey through a poem dedicated to their Camino de Santiago experiences. "For our last celebration dinner with the group, my friend and I were going to write a poem to celebrate how wonderful the whole trip was. When I told my son, Sam, he said he’d put our words to music. I thought I'd share it with other travellers as it really sums up how we felt about the Camino. There’s a special mention to Sergio, our guide, and Pepe, our coach driver, who were both fab. Hope you like it!" Sam, being a talented musician, was able to put their words into a fantastic song. He plays the guitar and sings, as well as crafting the final songwriting. 🎵 Julie Parmiter & Janet Norris - initial poem and inspiration 🎤 Sam Parmiter - final song, including lyrics and music 🎥 Tim Charody - video View the Best of the Camino guided tour: https://www.utracks.com/Spain/Guided-... The site became the focus of a #pilgrim trail beginning in France and crossing Northern Spain to #Santiago de Compostela. While there are many different routes to Santiago de Compostela, the most well known of the Camino de Santiago walks (also known as the Compostela Trail or Way of St James) are in #Spain and #France. With so many options available it can be confusing for the modern day traveller to know exactly which one they should do. #UTracks offers a multitude of #walking options along the most popular Camino de Santiago route in Spain, as well as the Camino Primitivo, the Original Way from Oviedo, the Camino del Norte, the English Way and the option to extend your journey to the Atlantic Coast from Santiago for those wishing to stay true to the pilgrim path. We also offer Food Lovers' trips that include the walking and culinary Camino highlights, a Walk & Write #tour, where walkers write their way to Santiago de Compostela, and #hiking and cycling holidays on the Portuguese Camino and the French Way of St James.
