Playa de los Alemanes

German Cove, or German Beach, is a charming and secluded beach in the province of Cádiz. A place chosen for its beauty and climate, it enjoys tranquility in the winter months and a lively atmosphere in the summer. The mystery surrounding the beach's name lingers, as does the question of whether it was indeed Germans fleeing World War II who fostered construction on Cabo de la Plata and the hillside leading down to the beach.
