"The Carter Sisters" Helen and Anita Tribute #2 !
A tribute to Helen and Anita Carter June Carters older and younger sisters who sang beautiful all their lives. They sang beautiful duets and backup vocals on a lot of their solo work, their mothers, Junes and other singers recordings for decades. "The Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle" were a great American band. Chet Atkins was hired after they met him at WNOX in Knoxville in 1948-49. All 5 members brought a top shelf talent, something special to the band. #Cartersisterscountrymusichalloffame
