A Run Up Masada

Masada was a palace-fortress built by Herod the Great. It was built in the 30’s BC. About 100 years later, 967 Jews used this same stand-alone mountain fortress as a place of refuge against the Romans. Today, there are two entrances to the top of Masada from the east. One is the cable car. The other is the Snake Path. Enjoy this video of Dr. John DeLancey running up the Snake Path, ascending over 1,000 feet in elevation to the top.
