Deep and rumbling purrs of sonic pleasure! ✨😸✨☀️✨💫✨ Wrap yourself in a blanket of fizzy undulating soundwaves and sink into a meditative state of relaxation and cosmic exploration. Although, I won’t lie, this one gets pretty intense! Freaking Lyras, man… ✨🤘🤪🤘✨ I did this jam for the ‪@HardwareJams‬ Weekend Challenge of forests and woodland cinematic soundscapes. I hadn’t used the Lyras in a bit, so I thought it would be fun to fire those up and see what happens! The modular patch was pretty much the same as the recent Steampipe jams I have done, so some similar tones and atmospheres, but the Lyras are so unique and industrial that the sound is way more wild, metallic, fuzzy and unpredictable than the Steampipe. I had fun exploring the textures and harmonies on this jam. I did some pre-tuning of the Lyras but a lot of this was just made up on the fly. You’ll see… ✨😁🍍🦩✨☀️✨💫✨ I layered in some field recordings of rain and chimes and outdoor ambiance for extra layers and relaxing textures. The blowing trees video frame border is my nod to the forest/nature part of the challenge and something I filmed and have been adding to all my ambient jams recently. 🌳🌱🏝️✨ I hope you enjoy the chill and gritty industrial ambient tones! ✨🤘😊💫✨
