Gentle Pleasures | Acoustic Guitar x Eurorack Modular x Field Samples | 2 hr Relax Nature Soundbath

Enjoy the blissed out vibes on this soothing relaxing ambient soundbath! ✨🏝️💫✨🧘✨🧘‍♀️💫✨ I was excited to collaborate with my Dad on this one. I recorded one of his solo acoustic guitar jams and then used that recording as a sound source for feeding into a eurorack modular setup that focused heavily on granular loops, feedback/delay, reverb and a bunch of other fun spatial, ethereal sound processings. It turned out really well! The guitar doesn’t start to fade in until around 13:00. I also included some audio layers of field recordings that I made recently of rainfall and passing cars (that sound kind of like ocean waves). I also recorded some chimes in the studio and layered those in. It all melded together into a sweet tapestry of magical ambiance! I didn’t film the guitar or modular jam, but I did film the snow falling (in May!) in Colorado. We barely had any snow all winter and now that it is almost summer, we start getting winter weather... Colorado weather always keeps you on your toes! I slowed all the footage down to a relaxing pace too. I have some other ambient jams that I am planning and working on, so hopefully I can do some more relaxing ambient soundbaths like this in the near future.
