The 1522 Story - Gandy Dancer (1992)
Gandy Dancer Productions teamed up with the St. Louis Steam Train Association to produce this official souvenir video, which was released in 1992. This program features footage of two main runs with the Frisco 1522: the 1990 National Railway Historical Society convention special from St. Louis to Newburg, Missouri, and return; and a freight run over the same route to test recently completed running gear repairs in October, 1991. This was the official video that was sold to help raise funds for the upkeep of Frisco 1522 during her excursion career, which lasted from 1988 to 2002. Enjoy this look back to when the 1522 was America's only operational 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotive.
