1995_03_27 BN Mukilteo to Stevens Pass WA Boeing Cars MRL SD40-2XR SD45

In Mukilteo we start with a look at specialized rail cars for Boeing and check out the steep track going up to the Boeing plant. A double stack train goes by with BN, Montana Rail Link and Conrail power. We see this train again near Snohomish and one last time in Skykomish. In Gold Bar we spot a train with one LMX and four MRL units. The two SD45's appear to be ex-CNW and ex-Susquehanna units. Next we see the east end of Cascade Tunnel then we jump to the west end of the tunnel and catch an eastbound double stack. From our motel in Monroe we see the eastbound Amtrak Empire Builder and an eastbound grain train.
