Jussarön kaivossaari - Urheilusukeltajien kesäleiri 2023

Already long time ago compasses got disturbed near Jussaari and hit the rocks. The reason was in the ground where iron ore was mined during 19th and 20th centuries. Afterwards Finnish Defence Forces took over the island. Today the island is opened and dive club Urheilusukeltajat ry organized a scuba diving camp there in summer 2023. In sea we find of course fish, but also a skeleton, a rifle and a possible naval mine. In addition to water activities we perform some urban exploration in the abandoned buildings of the island and solve the mystery of a blue light in the dark forest.
