Average to olympian Day 10: 1st 100m competition of the season

Okay so quite a slow opener but as always lots of factors, main thing is I haven't ran past 40m maximally which means later into the run i'm loosing more time than I should be. So not quite a sub 11 season opener, given the various circumstances I'm happy. No one to run with/to push me (big respect to the masters athlete competing with me though) , not having ran past 40m maximally, and first race in 23 months. lots identified that can be cleaned up, main thing is I know strength is there based of how the 2 step jumps went (36" vertical from a 2 step). Now just to translate more of this to actual training and competition sprints! I'm on the back foot having not had an indoors and being in an earlier stage in my annual training plan compared to others. So very confident with more runs I can really drop this time drastically. competing in a week and a bit, 1x100m again this time we will shoot for some big improvements!
