From Mistake to Masterpiece! Alcohol Ink on Canvas | Underwater Abstract Fluid Art

Not every painting goes according to plan... and this one definitely had a few surprises. In this video, I show how I prepare an 8x10" canvas for alcohol ink painting, some of the tools I use, and the creative process behind building an abstract fluid art piece filled with rich blues, shimmering golds, and ocean-inspired movement. Fair warning before you watch: I made a big filming mistake! While I thought the camera was happily recording, it had actually shut down during the second half of the painting process. My apologies for the sudden jump from "What have I done?" to "Wow, I love this!" Even with a few artistic detours and a camera mishap, this painting found its way. The finished piece reminds me of an underwater world filled with hidden currents, golden treasures, and mysterious beauty beneath the surface.
